Courier Insurance Options

Choose by vehicle count first. If you need cover for one car or van, we will then ask whether the work lasts 1–28 days or 29 days or more.

Choose the route that fits your cover

How many vehicles do you need to insure?
How long do you need cover for?

These answers only select the relevant Here4Insurance route. No personal or insurance-risk information is collected here.

Why the duration choice matters

A temporary courier policy and an ongoing courier policy are different products. The 1–28-day route presents a single temporary provider. The 29-days-or-more route keeps the existing Here4Insurance provider-selection logic. The fleet choice keeps the existing fleet route unchanged.

Paid delivery work needs the right class of use

If you are paid to carry parcels, food, groceries or somebody else’s goods, ordinary private or business-use vehicle insurance does not normally permit that work. Check for carriage of goods for hire and reward. Our delivery-driver insurance guide explains the main checks.

Vehicle cover and goods cover are separate

Courier motor insurance does not necessarily insure the value of the items being carried. Check whether the platform, courier or contract requires separate Goods in Transit, public liability or other business cover.

What happens after you choose

  • More than one vehicle / fleet: continue to the existing fleet insurance route.
  • One vehicle, 1–28 days: continue to the temporary courier hub.
  • One vehicle, 29 days or more: continue through the existing ongoing courier-provider route.
