How Here4 Insurance researches and reviews content
Here4 Insurance publishes general insurance information and helps visitors reach comparison and provider services. We do not provide personal financial advice or recommend a particular policy. A visitor’s choice of provider and cover is their own.
Our research standard
For factual claims that can change or affect a buying decision, we prefer primary and authoritative UK sources. These include GOV.UK, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Association of British Insurers, MoneyHelper, Thatcham Research and the current terms published by the relevant insurer, comparison service or delivery platform.
- We distinguish legal requirements, platform requirements and common insurance terminology.
- We avoid presenting indicative insurance groups, prices or eligibility as guaranteed.
- Where a fact depends on a vehicle version, driver or policy wording, we say so.
- We link to the source close to the claim where that helps a reader verify it.
Review and corrections
Priority guides are reviewed by the Here4 Insurance editorial team. Pages show a review note when a source-led check has been completed. Dates reflect a genuine content review, not an automatic date change. If a source changes, we update or qualify the affected wording.
If you spot an error, please use the site’s contact details and include the page address and the statement you believe needs checking. We will review the original source and correct material errors.
Commercial relationships
Some links lead to insurance comparison services or other providers, and Here4 Insurance may receive a commission if a visitor buys through a link. Provider disclosures appear beside relevant calls to action and in the site disclaimer. Commercial arrangements do not change our sourcing standard or turn general information into advice.
Important limitation
Policy wording, acceptance criteria and prices vary by provider and can change. Always answer quotation questions accurately, read the current policy documents and confirm that cover matches the vehicle and how it will be used.
